Devon Gilfillian Album Campaign Visuals

Inspired by the songs on Devon Gilfillian’s Album Black Hole Rainbow, we wrote, directed and shot a short vignette for each song commissioned as part of the album visual campaign.

Working together with Devon, Management and Capitol, we approached with a strategy of adapting bite size pieces of content to be adapted & utilized across all platforms — Each vignette was used as a Spotify canvas, a visualizer for Vevo on Youtube and both horizontal feed and vertical story posts on socials.

We wrote each with the intention of pulling the listener into the song, resonating with both Devon as the protagonist and objectively seeing themselves within the song’s universal concepts.  

We approached with the question, “What can we say visually, in just a few seconds, that really captures the essence of each song.”
